NFIEC Scholarship Award Breakfast
Hosted by the Niagara Frontier Industry Education Council (NFIEC)
On May 20, 2025, the Niagara Frontier Industry Education Council (NFIEC) hosted its annual Scholarship Award Breakfast at The Fairdale Banquet Center, celebrating student achievement while advancing NFIEC’s mission to connect education and industry and prepare students for success in higher education and the workforce.
The event followed NFIEC’s comprehensive review of students’ College and Career Portfolios (CCP), a signature initiative designed to assess students’ preparedness for postsecondary education and the workforce. Top scholarship candidates engaged in formal interviews with NFIEC Business and Industry Partners, presenting and defending their portfolios, demonstrating mastery of key competencies, and meeting professional standards for employability skills.
