Marketing Me Student Conference

On March 25, 2025, the Niagara Frontier Industry Education Council (NFIEC) welcomed more than 200 students from across Western New York to the Marketing Me Student Conference and Dining Etiquette Luncheon, an immersive professional development experience designed to prepare students for success beyond the classroom.
Aligned with NFIEC’s mission to bridge the gap between education and the evolving workforce, the conference featured four interactive breakout sessions focused on essential career readiness skills. Attendees strengthened competencies in resume writing and interviewing, gained insights into navigating the AI revolution, explored best practices for professional use of social media, and engaged with representatives at a college fair to support future educational and career pathways.
The event concluded with a formal business luncheon during which students received instruction in professional dining etiquette, reinforcing the importance of workplace professionalism, confidence, and effective interpersonal skills in business settings.
Held at The M Hotel and Banquets, the Marketing Me Student Conference reflected NFIEC’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical exposure necessary to succeed in today’s workforce. Through initiatives such as the Marketing Me Student Conference, NFIEC continues to strengthen connections between students, educators, and industry partners while supporting the development of a skilled and prepared future workforce for Western New York.
